This is a pretty wide-ranging topic and everyone has their own definition of what it means. In a nut-shell we can design new websites from conception through to completion ranging from just a few pages through to fully-fledged content management systems containing many thousands of pages. The sites can be simple “brochure”-like sites such as www.centraltools.co.uk, larger content managed sites with customised dynamic content such as www.hrb.ie or web based applications such as www.gadgets4lads.com.

Whatever it may be, we design and make standards-based, accessible sites tested across platforms and browsers.

We believe in using the best tools for the job and usually Hugh will tell us that the best tool for writing a Windows application is Microsoft’s own Visual FoxPro. Hugh can usually whip up a program faster than Linford Christie running for the ice-cream van and still have time for a cup of tea! Oh, and he only has 9 fingers! Hugh has designed and written programs for formulating paints and inks through to managing the flow of tyres through a factory—you name it, he’s probably done it.
