Although the majority of our work revolves around databases (most business systems fit into a database model) there are occasions where a database is not required or does not have the functionality required.
Visual Basic is a general purpose programming language which has rich functionality and is capable of rapid application development.
For example, we have developed programs which control the scheduling of lights and output the data via serial port to the light control unit. We have developed utilities which convert data from one program into a format suitable for another.
